Webland AP

When you search for land details, you hear two names: Meebhoomi and Webland. While Meebhoomi is for the public, Webland AP is the "silent engine" running the whole system.

Webland is the centralized database where the "Record of Truth" lives. It is the portal used by government officials (Revenue Department) to digitally sign, update, and secure your Bhu-Vivaraalu (land details).

What is Webland AP?

Webland AP is the core management system designed by the CCLA. Its goal is to keep a tamper-proof, digital record of every inch of land.

The Rule of Thumb: In Andhra Pradesh, if your land record isn't on Webland, it "doesn't exist" in the eyes of the government. Banks and Registration offices only trust what is "Locked" in the Webland database.

Webland vs. Meebhoomi:

This is where most landowners get Gajabiji (confused). Here is the breakdown:

Feature Webland AP Meebhoomi
Primary User Government Officials (Tahsildars, VROs) Citizens (Landowners, Public)
Purpose To Edit, Update, and Approve. To View and Download (Choodadam).
Access Restricted (Needs Official Login). Open (Public Search).
Analogy The bank’s internal computer. Your ATM or Mobile Banking App.

Key Services of Webland

Even though you can't log in, the Adhikarlu (officials) perform tasks there that directly affect your Aasti (property):

1. Land Mutation (Namantaram / Mutation)

When you buy land, you apply at a MeeSeva center. That request travels to the Webland portal. The Tahsildar verifies the Patralu (documents) and digitally signs them. Only then does your name appear on Meebhoomi.

2. Aadhaar Seeding

Linking your Aadhaar to your Khata Number happens here. This is mandatory if you want to receive government benefits like Rythu Bharosa.

3. POLR (Bhu-Prakshalana)

This is the "Purification of Land Records." If there are mistakes in your name or the land's Vistirnam (area), officials use Webland to fix these Thappulu (errors).

4. E-Pattadar Passbooks

Your digital passbook is only generated once the data is "frozen" and verified in Webland.

How to Correct Errors in Andhra Pradesh Land Records

Finding out that your land records are incorrect can be stressful, but the government has provided clear margaalu (ways) to fix these thappulu (errors). Whether it’s a spelling mistake in your name or a mismatch in the Survey Number, here is how you can file a Phiryaadu (complaint).

Step 1: Online via Meebhoomi Portal

This is the fastest way to start. You don’t need to go anywhere; you just need your Aadhaar and the supporting documents.

  1. Visit the Site: Go to Linking your Aadhaar
  2. Find the Complaints Section: Look for the "Complaints" or "Raise a Complaint" tab in the main menu.
  3. Select the Type of Error: You will see options like:
    • Name Correction: If your name is misspelled.
    • Adangal/1-B Correction: For general record errors.
    • Aadhaar Mismatch: If your Aadhaar isn't linking properly.
  4. Enter Your Details: Fill in your District, Mandal, Village, and Survey Number.
  5. Upload Proof: You must upload a scanned PDF of your proof (like a Registered Sale Deed or Aadhaar Card).
  6. Track Status: After submitting, you will get a Complaint Number. Keep this safe! You can use it on the same portal to see if the Adhikarlu (officials) have approved it.

Step 2: Via the Spandana Portal (స్పందన)

If the Meebhoomi portal is down or you aren't getting a response, use the Spandana portal—the AP government's official grievance system.

Step 3: The Offline Path (Mandal Office)

Sometimes, digital methods don't work for complex issues like Gattu Vivadalu (boundary disputes). In that case, you must go in person.

  1. Meet the VRO: Talk to your Village Revenue Officer (VRO) first. They are the ones who do the ground-level verification (Kshethra Sthayi Pariseelana).
  2. Submit a Request to the Tahsildar: Write a letter to the MRO (Mandal Revenue Officer) explaining the error.
  3. Documents to Carry:
    • Original and Xerox of your Aadhaar.
    • Copy of your Sale Deed (Krayavikraya Pathram).
    • Old Pattadar Passbook (if you have one).
  4. Surveyor Visit: If the error is about the land's size, you can apply for a FML (Field Measurement). A government surveyor will come to measure the land and update the Webland records.

FAQ's

Q: Can I get a Webland Login?
A: No. This is strictly for Revenue Department employees (VRO, RI, MRO). For public use, always stick to Meebhoomi.

Q: My details are wrong on Meebhoomi. How do I fix them?
A: You cannot change it online yourself. You must file a Grievance (via Spandana or at the Tahsildar office). The VRO will investigate and then update the entry in the Webland login.

Q: What does "Webland Not Signed" mean?
A: This is a common Samasya (problem). It means your record is in the system, but the Tahsildar has not yet put their Digital Signature on it. An "Unsigned" record is not valid for Baanku Runalu (bank loans) or registrations. You must request the MRO office to sign it.
