The moment you need to change something on them — fix a name, request a certified copy with an official seal, or file a mutation — the request has to go through MeeSeva, the AP government's citizen service counter network. It's the bridge between what you can do yourself online and what only a Tahsildar or MRO can approve.

What MeeSeva Actually Does

MeeSeva centers don't have the authority to approve land record changes themselves. They collect your application, scan your documents, charge the fee, and forward everything digitally to the right Revenue official. Think of it as a structured intake counter rather than a decision-making office — the actual approval still comes from the Tahsildar, MRO, or VRO.

Documents to Carry for Most Services

• Aadhaar Card (original + photocopy)
• Old Pattadar Passbook or its photocopy, if available
• Latest Adangal/1-B printout of the survey number in question
• Supporting deed — Sale Deed, Gift Deed, or Partition Deed, depending on the service
• Mobile number registered to your land records, for OTP verification

Corrections and certified copies usually need less paperwork than a mutation. If you're applying for a name correction, the Sale Deed and Aadhaar are typically enough; mutation applications need the full document set covered in the mutation guide.

Step-by-Step: Filing a Service at MeeSeva

1. Locate your nearest MeeSeva center — most mandals have at least one, often inside the Rythu Seva Kendram or Mandal office complex.
2. Tell the operator which service you need by name (e.g., "1-B correction" or "duplicate passbook").
3. Hand over your documents for scanning. Keep originals with you; only copies get attached to the application.
4. Pay the prescribed fee and collect your receipt with the service request number.
5. Wait for processing. Corrections and certified copies usually clear faster than mutations, which require an official's sign-off and sometimes a field visit.
6. Collect your document from the same center once notified, or download it directly from Meebhoomi if it's a digitally signed e-document.

If a MeeSeva-filed application gets stuck or rejected without a clear reason, that's usually the point to go to the Tahsildar office in person rather than refiling the same request again.

Tracking Your Application

Every receipt comes with a service request number. Use it on the MeeSeva or AP Online status tracker to check progress.
